Our Prayer For September
As we welcome September, we approach you with thankful hearts, seeking Your wisdom. Your Word assures us that if we are in need of wisdom, we can ask You, and You will provide it abundantly.
Lord, grant us the wisdom to make sound decisions, the discernment to hear Your voice, and the understanding to follow Your will. Help us to rely not on our own insights, but to place our trust in You in every aspect of our lives.
Bestow wisdom upon our leaders as they guide and serve Your people. Grant wisdom to our families within their homes, to parents as they nurture their children, and to students as they embark on a new academic year. Equip our youth with the wisdom to make choices that honor You.
Lord, provide LSA with wisdom for every ministry, outreach, mission, and assignment You have entrusted to us. Enable us to serve with excellence, lead with humility, and walk in unity.
In times of uncertainty, grant us clarity. In moments of tough decisions, provide us with direction. When we feel weary, remind us that Your wisdom surpasses our own.
May this month usher in a time of spiritual growth and deeper understanding. Teach us to prioritize seeking You, to listen for Your voice, and to apply Your Word in our daily lives.

A Proverbs 31 Woman

Many of us have read Proverbs 31, which expounds on the characteristics of a godly woman. However, after reading this chapter, many women are left pondering the thought of how, as Christian women, can we be like her. Oftentimes we find ourselves asking the question, What makes me a Proverbs 31 woman? How can I apply it to my daily life? Although many have defined the Proverbs 31 woman by what she does and the titles she holds, it is imperative to take a deeper look into the character of who she is as a woman.
Unbeknownst to some, the woman described in Proverbs 31 probably does not describe an actual person. Some scholars believe chapter 31 serves as a letter written to Solomon from his mother, Bathsheba. She was simply explaining to him the kind of woman he should find. More specifically, she explained to her son the right qualities of a God-fearing, virtuous woman.
