A Heart That Listens

Dear Church Family, as we navigate through this month of July, we are reminded that our walk with God is defined by our responsiveness to His voice. True faith is not just about belief, but about the willingness to move when He speaks, even when the destination remains veiled in mystery.

To be truly sensitive to the Holy Spirit requires a stillness of heart and a courageous resolve to say "Yes" before we even hear the full command. It is in this posture of surrender that we find the richness of His purpose for our community here in Raleigh.

Too often, fear, comfort, or uncertainty causes us to delay our obedience. But delayed obedience can cause us to miss opportunities God has prepared for us. Every step of obedience strengthens our faith and positions us to experience his purpose in a deeper way.

This week, we encourage you to spend intentional time in God's presence. Ask him:

• Lord, what are you asking me to do?

• Is there someone you want me to encourage?

• Is there something I need to surrender?

• What step of faith are you calling me to take?

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.
