When Plan B Comes Into Effect
Scripture: Genesis 6:1-8
Pastor Tyrone McCray Sr.
Sometimes life does not go according to the plan we originally imagined. There are moments when what we expected to happen changes, and we find ourselves having to trust God in a new direction.
In his message, “When Plan B Comes Into Effect,” Pastor Tyrone McCray Sr. preached from Genesis 6:1-8, reminding us that even when circumstances change, God remains in control.
Genesis 6 describes a world that had become increasingly corrupt, yet in the midst of it all, Noah found favor with God. Noah's story reminds us that God's plan can still unfold even when the world around us does not look the way we expected.
A “Plan B” does not mean God has abandoned us. Sometimes what feels like a setback can become an opportunity for God to redirect our steps, strengthen our faith and prepare us for what comes next.
When our plans change, we can become discouraged and question what God is doing. But Noah teaches us the importance of remaining faithful even when we cannot see the entire picture.

Your Plan B may still be part of God's purpose.
When the unexpected happens, don't give up. Continue to trust God, follow His direction and remain faithful. What looks like a detour to us may be exactly where God is leading us.
When Plan B comes into effect, remember: God is still writing the story.
